2.  Lead Time…

Lead times are indications of number of days of delivery during the weekdays and are based on average figures. The lead times for pickup Drop up location can be 1 or 2 working days extra. Logistics company only work 5 days a week.

3.  Instabasket - DPD Predict Service....

As soon as your parcels are ready for dispatch, you are sent track and trace code with tracking link for each box in your email, separately. Please check the junk folder, track and trace code emails may be delivered to your junk folder and add our email address to your safe list.

  1. Time window:  All customers will be provided with the expected delivery time window.

  2. Advanced notification: You will be informed in advance of the delivery day & time window by SMS and/or email sent by DPD.

  3. Inflight options: Customer can now choose the date and place of your delivery. If you feel that you will not be able to receive then you can inform DPD to deliver your box to neighbour, any safe place or you can pick your box from one of the nearest Pickup point.
  4. Live tracking: Thanks to ‘follow my parcel’ you can follow your parcel live on a map.

If customer doesn’t reply then DPD will do the delivery at the given address. Please note that there will be just one delivery attempt and if there will be no one available to receive the box then DPD will leave a note and the box will be automatically re-directed to the nearest Pickup point.

4.  Notification & Surcharge…

Pre-notification by DPD

DPD will send SMS and/or Email depending from country to country to the customer. In case you want to change the final delivery location or change/confirm the delivery time then this is the time to respond. DPD will conform the delivery for the next day and propose different inflight options. 

If customer doesn’t reply then DPD will do the delivery at the given address. Please note that there will be just one delivery attempt and if there will be no one available to receive the box then DPD will leave a note and the box will be automatically re-directed to the nearest Pickup point.

Undeliverable parcel – Due to Incorrect Address and wrong Zip Code provided by Customer

Instabasket will receive a surcharge as penalty from DPD and parcel will be returned to the shipper due to an incorrect address or wrong postal code.

Customer will have to pay €25 as penalty. If customer request to resend the box, then additional transportation charge will have to be paid by customer which could be between €10 and €20 (depending on customer country location)

Undeliverable parcel – Due to customer refuse to accept the delivery. Most of the time those boxes are ordered by third party either as surprise gift or fail to inform the recipient on time.

Instabasket will receive a surcharge from DPD and parcel will be returned to the shipper because the recipient refused delivery.

Customer will have to pay €25 as penalty. If customer request to resend the box, then additional transportation charge will have to be paid by customer which could be between €10 and €20 (depending on customer country location)

Undeliverable parcel – Parcel left at pickup location for more than 7 days.

Instabasket will receive a surcharge from DPD and parcel will be returned to the shipper because the recipient fails to collect box within 7 days from the pickup point.  

After the 1st delivery attempt if there will be no one available to receive the box then it is automatically re-directed to the nearest Pickup Point where it stays for 7 days and then box will be sent back to the shipper.

Customer will have to pay €25 as penalty. If customer request to resend the box, then additional transportation charge will have to be paid by customer which could be between €10 and €20 (depending on customer country location)

Weight of ordered Box

Customer is requested not to make 1 box of more than 28 kg.

If the requested order weight will be higher than 28kg then some products will be not delivered in order to adjust the weight. Instabasket will send voucher against undelivered products.

5.  Important Terms of Use…

  1. Once the box is delivered and customer receive the tracking number, it is customer responsibility that they should track their box. Our delivery partner will first inform by sending SMS/Email and do 1 delivery attempt, if customer will not be available to receive box at the defined address then they need to collect the box from pickup location. If customer fail to collect box at the requested delivery address and from the pickup location, then instabasket will not be held responsible. Depending on the country, DPD have right to dispose or return the box to instabasket. Instabasket can take any further action only if they will receive the returned box.
  2. Once placed the order it cannot be cancelled. However, you are free to notify in writing to the customer support team and request for cancelation. Instabasket reserves the right to refuse or accept the order cancelation. If instabasket agree to refund the money, then the refund process will take 30 working days after dissolution of the agreement. Customer will have to pay cancelation fees of 5% of the total amount.
  3. Instabasket will refund money to the customer if it fails to deliver the complete order. However, while packing if few products will be out of stock then instabasket will send a voucher to the customer.
  4. The shipment of goods is always at our risk. So, you do not have to worry about goods lost during transportation.
  5. If you, however, return goods to us within 14 days after delivery because you prefer not to keep them, you will be responsible for the transportation.
  6. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential damage suffered due to late delivery or non-delivery by the transporter assigned by the company. In such cases our liability remains limited to the value of the goods of which it is shown that they were not received by the customer.
  7. Delivery company will only keep the box at their pickup point for 7 days, Instabasket will have no responsibility if customer fail to pick in the defined time.
  8. Please carry your passport or valid personal id proof if you need to collect the package from Pickup parcel shop. Please verify the time and address of Pickup Parcel Shop before.

RETURN

  1. Customer is free to return the box within 14 days from the day of delivery provided the product would have been not opened and must be returned in the original packing. Only the written communication will be considered for any change or cancellation of order before or after dispatch of goods.
  2. Online payment gateway transaction fee (10% of the total value of the product) and logistics return cost will be at customer’s expense.
    1. Customer can return the boxes using their own preferred postal system. Instabasket request their customer to follow the following steps to effectively process their return.
    2. Please notify us by sending an e-mail, mentioning your order number within 14 days of delivery.
    3. Properly pack the return items in a box to prevent damage during return transport and apply the required postage at your nearby Post office.
    4. We expect our customers to send us carefully packed return items. Please also e-mail us a copy of the post office receipt.
    5. After receiving the goods in the original condition, unopened, Instabasket will return the cost of the goods in 30 working days or can send voucher.
    6. Any type of return shipment cost will be paid by the customer.
    7. Customer should keep the postage receipt until they receive their refund, for the reference.
  3. Instabasket can refuse repayment if we have not received the returned goods or until you have shown you have returned the goods, depending on which event occurs first.
  4. By way of exception, the consumer does not have the right to withdraw the purchase if the order concerns products that, due to their nature, cannot be returned or can spoil or expire quickly.
  5. Instabasket reserves the right to refuse the return of the products and / or the refund of the price if the products returned by the consumer are damaged. If the returned products are slightly affected, INSTABASKET will hold a portion of the price, resulting in the underestimation.
